Some structures just need to go. This cabin in Gleason had run its course - deteriorating block walls, a failing roof, and years of accumulated junk on a lakefront property that deserved better. The owner needed it gone, and that meant more than just knocking it down. It meant hauling every last piece of debris off the site and leaving the land clean.
We brought in our excavator fitted with a hydraulic grapple attachment to tear the structure apart and sort through the material. That grapple makes a big difference on jobs like this - instead of pushing everything into a pile and hoping for the best, we can grab, sort, and load debris precisely. Old tires, wiring, lumber, roofing material - everything gets handled and hauled, not just shoved to the side.
The site had more to it than just the cabin. There was additional debris scattered across the slope down toward the water, and a secondary structure that needed to come out too. We worked across the full property, grading as we went to leave the ground ready for whatever comes next. The access path and hillside got cleaned up all the way down to the waterline.
What you end up with is a property that actually feels like a fresh start. No eyesores. No safety hazards. No rotting wood drawing pests or creating liability. Just cleared, graded ground on a clean lakefront lot with real potential. That's the whole point of a job like this.
Demo work looks simple from the outside, but doing it right - especially on wooded, sloped, waterfront sites - takes the right equipment and experience. We handle the full scope: demo, excavation, debris removal, and cleanup. If you've got a structure on your property that's overdue to come down, we can take care of it from start to finish.
