When a tornado tears through a community, the aftermath is overwhelming. Downed trees everywhere, debris blocking access, and families left trying to figure out where to even start. After the tornado hit Ringle and Kronenwetter, we loaded up our equipment and got to work - at no charge to the community.
This was not a small job. The scale of the damage across both areas was significant. We had multiple machines running at once - our excavator working to grab and move fallen timber, the Bobcat T770 with a grapple pushing through the debris fields, and chainsaws running where the equipment couldn't reach. Every tool we had went to work.
Storm cleanup like this is exactly where our forestry mulching and excavation capabilities make a real difference. Moving large volumes of downed trees fast requires the right equipment and people who know how to use it efficiently. We were able to clear areas that would have taken homeowners weeks to deal with by hand - in a fraction of the time.
The areas around Riverside Elementary and nearby neighborhoods got particular attention. Keeping those spaces safe and accessible mattered. Once the debris was cleared and processed, what was left behind were open, manageable spaces that families and first responders could actually move through again.
This community has supported us, and when something like this happens, there's no question about showing up. We're grateful we had the equipment and the crew to make a real impact when it counted most.
